The sad part is that though the expression for this caption is perfect...the scene is the one where Stahn is reacting to Dymlos telling him that the voice coming out of Berselius is not that of the real Berselius. Well, this was me just being silly.
Isn't she just too adorable? Just a basic caption icon I made because I thought younger Rutee had the cutest face. She seriously got a whole two page flashback devoted to her childhood self in I think it was Chapter 5.
A warning to all who look at my journal...if this icon is up it means I'm ranting or angry and any offense taken is at your own risk. I generally don't use anger icons in comments or communities, though, because I hate starting fights. I just figured to share it like all the rest.
With that said, it's just a basic pic on dark red with red lettering, sort of to magnify the anger in her expression. Seeing as it's when she's yelling at Kronos/Miktran about what he did to her father...we all know she was out for blood.
I'd been trying to make some parallel of her and Leon, but gave up when I couldn't find two good pics that would fit together the way that I wanted...though don't count me out for a future attempt with a new idea. After giving up in disgust, I decided to do one with Atwight and Rutee instead and show the Partner aspect of Rutee instead of the Long Lost Sister one. It was only luck that the letters went as good as they did on the second try and I made no other attempt at making it better so I didn't lose having it as good as I did. The lettering by Rutee is hard to see somewhat, but I gave up looking through the color scheme after realizing that only blue fit with what I'd done so far.
Why he'd even play Monopoly with them is beyond me, but it seemed funny at the time. The expression on his face just tells all. Well, in actuallity he's in disgust because Stahn is being a gentlemant for Philia, Rutee is jealous which is causing confusion in Stahn...and Hugo finds the whole thing hilarious. Though I could actually see Rutee trying to cheat her brother at Monopoly...
Just because Kyle is so adorable! He's so cute. And I figured that since he wasn't a "hero" to Reala until partway through the game, he would kinda start out as a Hero in Training since that was his goal and he eventually met it.
So Rutee wasn't exactly innocent in the game...it's the symbolism more than anything. When you think about it, she did have innocence once and lost it as life took its tole. Plus, what little she had left was shredded away as Fate forced her to kill her own father and brother to save the world...only to know afterwards that they weren't the real guilty parties and there was another force behind their actions. And due to her circumstances, she wasn't actually given any time to grieve over them.
I felt leaving this in black and white would fit the mood a lot more. Leon's whole life was lived simply to fade away in the end. Throughout two games, he was a Victim of Fate, played with like he was on a stage. Though his ToD 2 counterpart did get to regain some of his dignity and honor, protecting his nephew and saving time itself, his Fate stayed the same and he had to die.
